Day 12: GAETI - Lesson Planning and Backwards Design with Dr. Huang and Art Design Projects.

Morning Session:
We worked on lesson planning and Backward Design concepts as well as Writing Performance Objectives, Understanding How We Learn, and Designing Learning Objectives.
We used this lecture information to begin creating a lesson plan for a group activity as described later.


Afternoon Session:
Art and the Border Crossing Multi-Media Project - My crab is gaining dimension.

This followed with a mini-poster session where each group presented their base lesson plan to the class where a vote was made at the end. (notice the Pink Stickers as VOTES)

We followed this up using a technology called Bubbl.us that gives us an easy way to build an organization chart.

This was an interesting brain storming idea that can be used with students.
