Day 2: GAETI - Geography

Today at GAETI we learned about basic concepts (Five Themes) of geography from Dr. Kathy Sherman Morris of the MSU Department of Geosciences

We covered a number of topics including the Five themes of Geography, Data Collection, Physical and Social Data, and a Tour of the U.S. Grant Presidential Library and Templeton Ragtime Museum at the MSU Library. Following the Library tours we were provided updates on the MS Department of Education updates of the MS College and Career Readiness Standards and the accompanying personal development opportunities available for each subject area. Overall an interesting and informative day.
