Today we began with a basic lesson on the geography of the country of Chile.
followed by a field trip to the Dunn-Seiler Museum and the Climate Lab at MSU's Department of Geosciences.
The MSU Climate Lab Studio serves as the hub of the Broadcast
Meteorology Program. It is comprised of a large studio featuring two
green-screen chroma-key walls, two cameras, four monitors, and IFB
capability. The studio is powered by a control room that features
studio controls, a TriCaster 410 production system, and Baron Omni and
VIPIR weather graphics. The products produced in the studio
include Practicum in Broadcast Meteorology I–IV lab exercises and our CampusConnect Forecast.
Following lunch we continued wrk on our multi media art projects: Called Border Crossing Art.
These
are a combination of Chalk, Acrylic, Water Color, and Marker, as well
as some three-dimensional aspects. This should be interesting.
Moving on from those we covered a lecture on the history of Native Americans in Mississippi.
